Harry meets and talks to Bear….

When you’re part of the County media team and you get offered the chance to interview the Chief Scout Bear Grylls you jump at the opportunity and that is what Harry McBain did today.

Bear was coming to Prior’s Court, a school for children with autism to help invest new members of 2nd Chieveley Scout Group who meet at the site.

Just following an interview with ITV Meridian (see piece here), Harry stepped in to do his own 1 to 1 interview for the County. As they were getting ready Bear asked about Harry’s Scouting journey and got chatting about his time at the World Scout Jamboree in 2019. Bear took a liking to his Berkshire Blue Bears badge.

Following that Harry spoke to the DC Trevor Glue, and newly invested GSL Siobhan Walter about the background to the Group and and how Scouting is helping the Young people.

Watch out for the interviews on the County facebook and website shortly.
