Which Scout Group is best for you?

Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts are organised into Scout Groups so, for example, each of the Beaver Colonies, Cub Packs or Scout Troops that is part of 1st Wokingham meet in the same place but usually on different nights. If your interest is in one of the older sections, just click on the logo above.

Nothing beats talking directly to the right person. The problem often is finding the right person. So here are the key steps to do just that:

First determine which age range you or your young person falls into.

Second go to the Groups page and, using the map choose the nearest group to your home.

Third turn to the group in question and check that the right section meets on a night that works for your young person.

Finally make contact with the group using the e-mail address provided. Sometimes the group may have full sections (starting new ones is difficult where we are short of leaders).

It is up to the group to determine if they have space. Safety is about maintaining the right ratio of warranted leaders to young people.

If you have any questions, drop an e-mail to the webmaster.
