Marchants Hill 2009 |
|
|
|
| October 2009 saw members of the
Group, mostly from the Cub Pack, spend a weekend at Marchants Hill
Activity Centre. Here

| Martin has been awarded
Scouting's Silver Acorn in recognition of his contribution to Scouting
in Emmbrook over a large number of years. This is one of Scouting's more
prestigious awards, so very well done Martin and thank you. Where would
the Group, and especially the Troop be without your support and energy? |

Top Trumps |
|
|
|
| The Pack have been playing "Top
Trumps", but with real cars. A fun evening was spent with cars brought
along by a number of enthusiastic owners. The cars included an Aston
Martin, a Lotus Exige and a Noble as well as a pair of Ferraris. After
the Cubs went round collecting information about top speeds power
outputs and so on, each car was run so that the Pack could decide which
was the noisiest. The prize for that competition surely went to the TVR
Tuscan that shattered even the relative peace of a typical Pack meeting!
